A metal band with a dark, atmospheric identity needed vinyl packaging that could match it. Anglo Printers delivered a collector-grade sleeve that pushed commercial print finishing to its limits.

The Job 3mm gatefold sleeve at 315 × 312mm, produced on 340gsm leather-effect board, chosen for its raw, tactile character and uncoated surface complexity.

Print & Embellishment Outer sleeve printed 4-colour litho. Red and silver foil applied to key design elements and the band logo, with temperature, pressure, and dwell time carefully controlled to achieve clean transfer across the textured stock. Embossing added layered depth to the design, with close control applied to avoid crushing the leather-effect surface. Finished with a matt seal to protect the board while holding true to the dark, matte aesthetic.|

The Detail That Sets It Apart

The centrepiece of this project was a precision-engineered veiled effect – the printed outer sleeve, an inserted O-band, and inner gatefold are designed to align into a single composite image only when all three components sit in exact register. That required millimetre-level accuracy across every die-cut, score, and fold in the run.

The Result A vinyl package that functions as both format and artefact, protective, tactile, and genuinely collectible.
